How allowances, upgrades and billing work.
What counts as an operation?
Each query or mutation call counts once. A batch counts each submitted observation. Operations reset on the first day of each month at 00:00 UTC. Exports, MCP handshakes, static catalogs and account administration do not count. Invalid requests that reach execution may count.
How is storage measured?
Storage is shared across the databases you own, including archived databases. It includes data, provenance, history and indexes. Archived databases also count toward your database allowance. Databases shared with you use their owner’s plan. 1 MB = 1,000,000 bytes.
What happens when I reach a limit?
There are no automatic overage charges. Storage limits can prevent new writes, and the database limit prevents creating additional databases. Reaching the monthly operation limit pauses further data operations until the next UTC month or an upgrade. Your data is preserved and export remains available. Upgrading increases your allowance without resetting the current counter.
Can I cancel Pro?
Yes. Manage your subscription in Billing & usage. Paid access continues through the paid period, then your account returns to Free. Existing databases and data are preserved; Free limits apply to further usage. Export remains available.
Does Pro include dedicated compute or AI calls?
Both plans run on shared managed infrastructure. Pro increases database capacity and operation allowances. Dedicated compute and hosted LLM usage are not included in either plan.
